Up to 30% off the limit —> Jail : 1 to 3 months , Fine : BHD 50 – BHD 250
Above 30% off the limit —> Jail : 1 to 6 months , Fine : BHD 100 – BHD 500
Causing injury and damage due to exceeding speed limit (speeding) —> Jail : 1 to 3 years , Fine : BHD 1,000
Causing fatal accident due to exceeding speed limit (speeding) —> Penalty would be doubled.
Repeating the offence within a year, the penalty would be doubled.
