2. Bertha was the first to set out on a road trip with a modern car, as she travelled 210 km back and forth, on a trip with her children.
3. Karl Benz was the first man in history to hold a driver’s license.
4. The first car sold in Nepal was a Mercedes-Benz, and it was sold to the King of Nepal in 1940
5. The company slogan represents “land, sea, and air”, and the company wanted to add a fourth line to represent space, but decided otherwise.
6. The name “Mercedes” was added to the brand “Mercedes Benz”, in 1901, and it is the name of the daughter of a man named Emil Jellinek, who was an entrepreneur at that time and worked with the company.
7. In June 1926, “DMG” and “Benz & C” merged to form one company, Daimler Benz AG, and the three-striped star logo was adopted.
8. Daimler has a very luxurious car called the Maybach. It was manufactured by Mercedes-Benz until 2013, but its production stopped due to poor sales. The car is now found under the name Mercedes Maybach, and it is considered a higher luxury version of Mercedes cars. One of the most famous examples is the Mercedes Maybach S600.
