Powering the Chery Arrizo 7 is a 1.6 litre DWT engine that produces 126hp and features continuous and variable intake with exhaust timing technology which allows for an increase in power and fuel efficiency. Later on, a 1.5-litre turbo engine option, which produces 147hp, was added.

The Chery Arrizo 7 is also equipped with a variety of additional amenities which include an intelligent driving system, Electronic Stability Control (ESP) which improves a vehicle’s stability, Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR) which is designed to prevent the loss of traction on wet roads, Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) which increases the braking pressure during an emergency to prevent a collision, and Hill Hold Control (HHC) which helps to deal with rollback on hills.
