Chris Bangle is a well known American automobile designer. He works as the Chief Designer for BMW Group that hold all BMW, MINI and Rolls -Royce cars.

He has served this industry for four brilliant decades and recently won the 2021 American Prize for design.

1- Opel “Junior” model 1983

Chris Bangle had participated in designing the Opel “Junior” model, which saw the launch of his career in 1983. This model was presented at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in 1983.

2- Fiat “Panda Model”

The revolutionary design that made Bangle famous is the Fiat “Panda” model, and it was introduced to the market beginning in 1985. This design was credited to him with widespread fame.

3- Fiat “Coupe” 1993

Bangle’s cooperation with the Italian brand Fiat was repeated in 1990, when he introduced his design for that year’s version of the Fiat “Coupe” and it was released in 1993

4- BMW Z3 model 1995

Beginning in 1992, Chris Bangle’s journey began with the BMW brand, and one of the first cars that a Bangle designed for BMW was the famous Z3 model, which was introduced in 1995. The concept design was not released to the market, it was introduced as BMW’s Z9 Gran Turismo concept in 1999 in the sixth category.

5- Mini Hatch in 2000

After adding the “Mini Cooper” brand to BMW, Chris Bangle had a role in designing new versions of the brand’s models, including the version of “Mini Hatch” in 2000.

6-  BMW Z4 2002

In 2002, Bangle himself designed the latest version of that year’s BMW Z4, which was introduced with a distinct, streamlined and convertible design.

And in Bangle’s last era of working with BMW, he designed the Z9 Gran Turismo concept, which was launched in 2008.
