Just in case if you didn’t know that Ford is one of the earliest makers of automobiles, but very few of us know that Nissan has contributed a lot to the progress of the advancement and features that are built into cars today. We have to be thankful to such great car makers and founding visionaries behind all the auto-architecture and level of planning with regards to design and functionality.

The Japanese company has immensely supported the Habitat for Humanity since the devastating Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast earlier in 2005. The company put forward over 85,000 volunteer hours, USD 14 million, and 12 years of service towards the fight in the United States against homelessness.

The first Datsun which is known to be Nissan’s original ‘heritage’ car was built in 1914, that sparked a century-long legacy for innovation  and class that you can experience today at South Holland at 94 Nissan.

Today’s Frontier has a strong ancestry in the 1959 Datsun pickup. The Datsun pickup is known to be the first Nissan truck sold in the United States. 220 overseas American servicemen commissioned the car to the market, purchasing the beloved trucks and importing them to the United States of America from Japan.

Back in 1999, the Frontier, the Xterra, and the Pathfinder were honored as the official vehicles of the (LACL) Los Angeles County Lifeguards. As a result, the well-built, four-wheel heartthrobs were heavily featured in filming of the 90’s hit series called Baywatch.

“Enriching People’s Lives” which is the global mission of Nissan – reflected directly in their 94 Nissan store. The Nissan Foundation was awarded over USD 700,000 to twenty-nine U.S. nonprofits this year alone, in grants.
